Self-adhesive labelling
Spirit labels

Self-adhesive labels would have to stand out in creativity and quality on shelves. The wine and spirit market is a perfect example of this with the use of numerous embellishments (foiling, spot varnishing, embossing, etc) and also using challenging materials to print the natural, structured facestock paper.

Self-adhesive labels (or pressure-sensitive labels) are made by printing onto a construction of 3 layers: a release liner (also known as the backing paper, carrier or glassine), a layer of adhesive and the face material. Flexographic printing does a great job in producing these. You and your market are evolving. Your park might need expansion to deal with short run label printing, more complex orders and demanding customers. Self-adhesive label production might offer you new territory and opportunities, that leaves you plenty of room for creativity, flexibility and growth.

High quality driven market by perception. Not only print quality but also embellishments play an important part in that perception. Printing on challenging substrates such as natural structured paper. Dry toner is the perfect colorant technology to produce this.
